raumAKUSTIKS

raumAKUSTIKS (owner: Helge Herrmann) manufactures custom sound absorbers in Berlin for room acoustics in offices, industrial, retail, hospitality and residential settings. Every AluWall absorber is made to measure: an aluminium frame with a highly absorbent polyester core (ISO-BOND®, thermal conductivity class WLG 040, fire class B1 per DIN 4102), or a glass-wool core for the A2 variant. The visible face is a seamlessly tensioned, flame-retardant fabric in any colour, optionally printed with high-resolution digital artwork (seamless up to 300 cm). Beyond the AluWall system, the range includes acoustic louvres, transparent honeycomb sound shields, microperforated acrylic glass and acoustic curtains. Installation and planning are available throughout Germany as well as in Austria, Switzerland and the Benelux countries.

raumAKUSTIKS Ceiling Raft

Acoustic Ceiling Raft (AluWall)

CeilingFree-hanging

Description

Acoustic ceiling raft freely suspended under the ceiling in the AluWall system: circumferential aluminum frame (50 mm), highly absorbent polyester core (ISO-BOND® WLG 040), and seamlessly stretched, not easily flammable fabric covering. The air gap between the raft and the raw ceiling enhances low-frequency absorption. Reverberation chamber measurement by Peutz / Fraunhofer Institute: αw ≈ 0.90, Class A (highly absorbent), suspension height 300 mm. The same component can optionally be mounted directly on a wall, ceiling, or diagonally on roof rafters. Custom dimensions, seamless up to 300 × 300 cm, unlimited in length. Suspension via steel cables with fine adjustment.
