alpha AKUSTIK

alpha AKUSTIK is the acoustics brand of Staudigel GmbH from Veitshöchheim — a family business with over 70 years of experience in wood processing. On around 7,500 m² of production area the company manufactures sound-absorbing perforated, slotted and micro-perforated panels (NANOLITE) on an MDF base for wall and ceiling. The panels are built up with a backing acoustic fleece (SoundTex) and mineral insulation into acoustically effective claddings. The range spans from discreetly perforated visible surfaces to highly absorbent slot-and-hole patterns and is broadly documented by accredited reverberation-chamber measurements (Fraunhofer IBP, BAE Fiedler, ita).

WallCeiling

Description

The slotted acoustic panel of the inner-groove type (20/N10) by alpha AKUSTIK: an MDF panel with narrow visible slots and a rear groove, backed with acoustic fleece. The fine line look stays calm while the rear groove enlarges the sound-absorbing area. Tunable via slot pattern (e.g. 20/N10-16-2) and backing, from medium to very high absorption. This range also includes the three-dimensional WAVY wall lining.

Technical data

Material: MDF carrier board with a rear inner groove and SoundTex acoustic fleece; backed with mineral wool (Rockwool Sonorock) or an air gap
Surface: slotted (visible slots), rear inner groove; raw, veneered or coated; WAVY as a three-dimensional surface
Application: sound-absorbing wall and ceiling lining; also as a closed element and cabinet door
Certifications: Accredited reverberation-chamber measurements per DIN EN ISO 354 (evaluated per DIN EN ISO 11654): Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics (IBP, Stuttgart), BAE Fiedler (Lahnau), ita Ingenieurgesellschaft (Wiesbaden) and test centre STS 121 (CH)
